Middle leadership in international schools is a specific kind of hard
You're leading colleagues you had dinner with on Saturday, who don't formally report to you. You're implementing decisions you weren't part of making. You're responsible for how the team performs and whether the work actually moves forward. without the authority or the control to guarantee either.
And you're doing it in a school where the professional and the personal are the same people. That closeness is one of the things that makes international school life rich, and one of the things that makes honest reflection harder to find.
1:1 coaching gives you somewhere outside all of that. A space where the actual situation is the starting point, not a sanitised version of it, not a hypothetical. The teacher has been disengaged since January. The senior leader who shifted expectations without shifting support. The conversation you've been circling for three weeks because the stakes feel too high and the relationship too close.
⭐️ A space that sits entirely outside your school: confidential, independent, and focused only on you. No performance lens. No agenda beyond yours.
⭐️ Clarity on what's yours to lead and where your authority actually sits, particularly when you're leading colleagues who don't formally report to you and know it
⭐️ Support navigating the specific conversations international school middle leaders avoid: the teacher who is disengaging mid-contract, the peer who publicly challenges your role, the senior leader who changes expectations without changing the support.
⭐️ A thinking partner when the environment gets politically complex: contract season, accreditation cycles, leadership transitions, the moments when everyone around you is unsettled, and you still need to show up steadily for your team.
⭐️ Real-time sense-checking between sessions, because leadership doesn't pause between appointments. Leadership Reset and Leadership Shift both include a call-back within 24 hours and email support within 24 hours, so the decision you're second-guessing at 8 pm on a Tuesday doesn't become a crisis by Friday.

3 hours of 1:1 coaching over 6–8 weeks · €449
Best for: You're doing the job. But it's costing more than it should, and you're not sure what you're doing wrong or if you're doing anything wrong.
You're leading the team, running meetings, and handling the admin expectations. You're also absorbing the tension when your team pushes back on a directive you didn't design. You're facilitating PLC sessions that feel like they're going through the motions. You're managing up to a principal who wants results and across to a team that wants autonomy, and you're the one in the middle between them.
This package is for the middle-level leader who needs space to step back, name what's actually happening, and build approaches that work for their specific school, team, and role.
What's included:
3 hours of coaching across 6–8 weeks
StrengthsFinder assessment with debrief — understanding how you're wired as a leader, not just what the job description says
Practical tools for facilitation, managing up, navigating difficult conversations, and setting limits on what you absorb
Reflection prompts between sessions
Email check-ins between sessions
DISC assessment (optional add-on · +€150)
You'll leave with clearer priorities, stronger communication strategies, and approaches you can use the following week in actual meetings with the people in your school.
6 hours of 1:1 coaching over 8 months · €799
Best for: Leaders who know there is a gap between how you're leading now and how you want to lead. You're ready to close it.
This isn't for leaders who are struggling. It's for leaders who are capable and know it, and who are tired of their leadership not being as visible, as confident, or as effective as the work they're actually doing. Over your six hours of 1-1 coaching, we work on the thinking and the habits underneath your leadership: where your authority comes from when it isn't backed by a formal structure, how you build credibility with a team that knows you as a peer, and how you stop second-guessing decisions in environments that are politically complex and constantly shifting.
What's included:
Everything in the Leadership Reset
Plus:
➕ Priority scheduling and between-session check-ins
➕ Tailored leadership plan for the next 6 months
You'll leave with: A clearer leadership identity, stronger credibility with your team and senior leadership, and the ability to navigate complex situations, team conflict, and leadership transitions.
I've held middle-level leadership roles in international schools for over twenty years, across multiple contexts and countries. I know what it's like to sit in a team meeting where you're the leader, and also the newest person in the room. I know what it's like to manage a teacher who is more experienced than you, who has been at the school longer than you. I know what contract season does to a staffroom, and what it's like to implement a directive you privately disagreed with, to a team that is looking at you for a reaction you can't give them.
I also know the specific isolation of the middle leadership role, not quite senior leadership, not quite a classroom teacher anymore, and not always sure which room you belong in.
That's the context I bring to every session. Not theory. Not generic coaching frameworks. The actual work, with someone who has done it in international schools, in that role, in that particular kind of hard.
